LEAF’s editor Ravi Kiran publishes EMPTY WALLET haiku chapbook

Ravi Kiran would like to send you the following message

Dear friends, some of you have been asking me when I would have my book (or chapbook) published and how you could read my works in one place. Some of you might also know that my haiku have been featured as Daily Haiku on the website of Mann Library of Cornell University during the month of April 2025. I have made all of them into a pdf chapbook and would like to share it with those who are interested in reading it. IT IS FREE

Please let me know if you would like to have a copy of the same and I will be glad to share it with you. You can do one of 3 things

1. You can leave your email address in the comments below or

2. You can DM your email address through Facebook Messenger or

3. You can send me an email at ravikiranparadigm@gmail.com

and I will do the needful accordingly.

Some of you might be wondering why am I not posting the chapbook here and save myself all the trouble. Well to me, the book contains haiku which are huge personal favourites and I would not like to dump it in the digital space but would like give it out only to those who are keen. So please let me know and I will do the needful. Here is the “zen-ish” front cover of the chapbook.

What a blessing you are Ravi. We are so lucky to have you here at LEAF as our inspiring and deciated editor. I have waited to find a quiet moment to thoroughly immerse myself in EMPTY WALLET and what a treat it has been. Utterly arresting and thoughtful haiku with your emerging, distinct haiku voice. Wonderful. I particularly loved

    Hello Ravi sir,
I’m new to writing haiku but I’ve read a lot of them and every time I read them, I’m always amazed at the fact how a handful of words can say so much more than one can ever imagine. I love reading them but my haikus don’t come out as evocative as I want them to. Sometimes, they seem forced.
I’ve read some of your haikus in many international contests. They’ve truly inspired me and I believe immersing myself in them would surely guide me to arrange my words in an eloquent and warmer manner.
My humble self looks forward to the great opportunity of getting to read your lovely book, “Empty Wallet”.

    Have a good day, sir!
